ABOUT HLMR, INC.

                                         Mission Statement

The City of Lockport is an historic gem within Niagara County.  Because of its location along the canal, and the installation of a lock system, the City became a bustling center of commercial activity in the mid-1800's.   HLMR, Inc. is committed preserving and promoting the impact of Lockport's unique positioning along the Erie Canal, and specifically highlighting the innovation and technology that came from Lockport's ability to harness the continuous flow of water over the escarpment.  Central to this innovation was the Historic Lockport Mill Race, situated along the south side of the Erie Canal in downtown Lockport.
